Poetry for organisations

"Creating strong teams through shared stories"

Bespoke Poetry

"Engage"

Poetry is all about engagement.  We engage with our own stories, with the stories of other people, our families, teams and tribes, organisations, and the world.

Active Craft Poetry engages with poetry as a craft rather than as an art form.  Art forms are to be admired or studied.  Crafts are to be handled, used, practised.  As crafters, we can start as beginners without self consciousness and make mistakes.  We can find our craft family and make new connections.  We can express our creativity and expand our sense of self.   And we can reflect on how we feel about what we are witnessing and experiencing.

Poetry provided a different way to engage with teambuilding.  Contact Lia by email or contact form, to set up a telephone meeting to discuss your needs.

Poetry Writing Workshops

Lia will create workshops to an organisation's time and budget, for people to learn simple poetry writing techniques.  Everyone gets a chance to play and practice expressing their feelings in a poem form.  No previous writing experience is required.  For collage poetry, poems are provided to a theme, with images, to create unique creations.

Poetry Connections

These are team events or meet and greet events, for organisations, using favourite poems or songs.

Poetry Workshops

Taster workshops introduce simple poetry writing techniques.  This is a way to introduce a wellbeing activity as an active craft into a programme of optional development courses.

Collage Poetry and Call and Response Poetry deal with single issue groupwork, for example, a group could look at power or happiness or dealing with loss.

Collage Poetry and Call and Response Poetry are a great vehicle for staff, customer and member engagement around issues like customer service, organisational values, and planning feedback.
